Red Wine Saint-Julien 2017 Château Ducru-Beaucaillou

Château Ducru-Beaucaillou, La Croix de Beaucaillou is a 2nd Grand Cru Classé from the Saint-Julien appellation, displaying remarkable elegance and exemplary balance. This Bordeaux wine reveals notes of ripe black fruits, gentle spices, and delicate smoky hints. The well-integrated tannins are enhanced when paired with truffle-based dishes and Pata Negra. At Château Ducru-Beaucaillou, the aging process enhances the raw material, much like Petrossian allows caviar to rest sufficiently to develop its flavors. The wines are aged in new French oak barrels for a minimum of 18 months before bottling.
