Pairing French caviar with beef tartare, the ultimate bistro dish? Excellent idea, and Made in France enthusiasts will approve! In a chic version for a festive dinner, this French Baeri beef tartare recipe will make a statement.

Preparation: 20 minutes

Ingredients for 4 people

Method

For the marinade

  1. Finely chop the onion, chives, capers and pickles.
  2. Cut the beef into small cubes.
  3. Mix everything with the hazelnut oil and season with Tabasco, salt, and pepper.

For plating

  1. Shape the tartares as desired.
  2. Gently cover the top with French caviar to avoid breaking the grains.
  3. Decorate with edible flowers or chive sprigs.

Caviar pairing?

The French Baeri Baïka® caviar is mineral and very briny. Perfect if you love land-and-sea pairings. To enhance the toasty note from the hazelnut oil, choose a buttery caviar with nutty aromas, like Daurenki® caviar. Its large golden grains will make an impression.
