1835 Pressed Caviar

Bought this for a special occasion but was disappointed. The texture is more like a heavy paste than real caviar, which felt odd and lacked the delicate pop you expect from good roe. The flavour was very salty and one-dimensional, more intense than enjoyable, and it didn’t pair well with anything I tried. For the price, I expected something more refined — instead it just felt harsh and flat. I’d choose traditional caviar next time instead, so dissapointing.
