Cheese Bites with Salmon Roe and Radish

These canapés are as beautiful as they are delicious. Easy to prepare in advance, these cheesy bites with salmon roe and radish make a perfect starter for your next meal.

 

Preparation: 15 minutes

Ingredients for about twenty bites

 

Instructions

  1. Wash the radish, chervil, and chives.
  2. Pick the chervil leaves.
  3. Chop the herbs finely.
  4. Peel the radish and slice into 5 mm thick rounds.
  5. Soften the cream cheese with a fork together with crème fraîche and olive oil.
  6. Mix in the chopped herbs and season to taste.
  7. Place a small quenelle of cheese on each radish slice using two spoons.
  8. Top with some salmon roe and refrigerate until serving.

Variation

This recipe adapts to all tastes. Prefer trout roe, smoked pike roe, Maviar 1950®, or want a mix of several flavors? These cheesy bites are also delicious with these specialties.

Extra tip

Can't find Green Meat radish? Cucumber or black radish also work very well for this recipe.
