It’s the big day! Still looking for a few ideas to enhance your Christmas dinner? In just a few minutes, with only a few ingredients, elevate salmon, caviar, and foie gras! Transform these exceptional products into chic and refined appetiser bites.
With salmon
A must-have for Christmas, salmon is usually enjoyed on blinis with a little cream, on lightly buttered toasted bread, or simply on its own with a squeeze of lemon juice.
If you have chosen the Tsar’s Cut®, create light bite-sized appetizers in 15 minutes by placing diced salmon on black radish slices, adding a drizzle of olive oil and a few coriander leaves.
For a refined starter, prepare a herb tataki by searing the salmon for 15 seconds on each side, brushing it with an Asian marinade, and topping it with fresh herbs.
If you have chosen sliced smoked salmon, make a beautiful salmon carpaccio with a citrus marinade. As beautiful as it is delicious, this dish will enhance your Christmas table.
With caviar
Caviar is traditionally enjoyed with a small spoon, but not only… For aperitifs, you can serve it on blinis or create crispy bites using Croustissian®, caviar, burrata, and toasted hazelnuts.
As a starter, try classic French recipes with caviar! Be bold with a beef tartare with French Baeri Baïka® caviar prepared in 20 minutes. For a fully marine version, opt for Gillardeau oysters topped with Ossetra caviar and a green apple condiment.
With foie gras
Whether you have chosen goose, duck, plain or truffle foie gras, we recommend taking it out of the refrigerator 10 minutes before serving, then slicing it with a knife dipped in hot water to obtain clean slices.
For a classic version, place your foie gras on slices of gingerbread and sprinkle with crushed pistachios and a little fleur de sel. For a more original pairing, create delicious sweet-and-savoury skewers of foie gras, quince jelly and pear using a cookie cutter.
