Caviar Ossetra, burrata et noisettes torréfiées

Caviar Burrata Toasts

In no time at all, transform your Ossetra Tsar Impérial caviar into a festive appetizer.

Ingredients for around twenty bites

  • 125 g Ossetra Tsar Impérial
  • 1 burrata of approximately 200 g
  • 50 g shelled hazelnuts
  • 1 pack of Croustissian

 

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Meanwhile, break the Croustissian® crackers into 3 equal pieces.
  3. Toast the hazelnuts in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes at 180°C until golden brown. Let them cool slightly, then roughly chop them.
  4. Place a generous spoonful of burrata, a small spoonful of Ossetra Tsar Impérial® caviar and a few chopped hazelnuts on each piece of Croustissian®.

 

Which caviar for this recipe?

Our first choice was Ossetra Tsar Impérial® because of its firm yet melting texture and its subtle dried-fruit aromas, which pair perfectly with toasted hazelnuts. To vary the flavours, try the Royal version, which is richer and creamier, or Daurenki® Tsar Impérial® for a smooth and creamy sensation that complements the melting texture of this famous Italian cheese.

 

An extra idea?

The hazelnuts add a crunchy touch. You can replace them with other ingredients such as buckwheat or toasted almonds.
