Reimagine the famous nigiri Japanese sushi with caviar. Follow our tips for cooking the rice and successfully make your sushi with Daurenki® Caviar. This caviar is featured in your week #4 basket, which includes 8 specialties to cook during confinement.

Ingredients for 4 people
- 50 g Daurenki® Royal Caviar
- 200 g sushi rice
- 3 cl rice vinegar
- 4 g fine salt
- 6 g sugar
Method
- Wash the rice and place it in a pot with 22 cl of water.
- Cover with a lid. Bring to a boil, then cook for 2–3 minutes.
- Simmer over low heat for 12 minutes. Turn off the heat and let the rice rest for 10 minutes.
- Spread the rice in a dish, add the mixture of rice vinegar, salt, and sugar. Gently mix, then let it rest at room temperature until completely cooled, covering with a cloth.
- Prepare a bowl of cold water and wet your fingers. Shape equal-sized rice blocks.
- Finish by carefully placing the grains of Daurenki® Royal Caviar on top.
- Serve immediately.
